Malta🇲🇹 3 months agoRestaurants, Maltese food.
We are also looking for some nice restaurant recommendations. We’d love places with a nice location, like a great view, that serve authentic, typical Maltese food. Any hidden gems or must visit spots?

I advice you Tal-Petut Restaurant! It was probably the most authentic dinner of the whole vacation. The restaurant is small and intimate, located in a quiet street in Birgu ..even getting there in the evening feels special and atmospheric. We ordered a mix of traditional Maltese dishes like some gbejniet and a ftira to start, then their… Read more

We know Sliema is usually packed with modern fast-food chains and tourist traps, but we turn into a tiny, narrow alley, and found out this hidden gem restaurant Ta’ Kris Restaurant.
We didn’t even look at the menu because the owner came over to our table and just told us what was fresh that day. We started with a warm Maltese platter loaded with… Read more - View more comments

Hi! We are a group of girls planning a 3 day trip to Malta for a bachelorette party, and we are looking for some advice.
We want to relax and have fun. We like happy hours and aperitifs, can anyone recommend some beach clubs where we can spend the day enjoying the sun and after some music? What is the best way to get around Malta? Renting a car…

Ciao! If you are looking for a chill atmosphere, good music and food I can recommend the beach club Manta by the sea in Sliema! My friends and I spent the all day, we took sunbeds near the pool, had some cocktails and relaxed. We waited for the sunset to take amazing photos and later there was a DJ event that made the atmosphere more fun… Read more

Renting a car in Malta is honestly a bit of a waste in my opinion! During the day the island is very well connected with buses and ferries, and especially if you have never driven on the left side I would not recommend renting a car. But taxis arrive in just few minutes and they are quite cheap, so moving around is very easy!

GossyParty started the discussion MALTA NOT A SCHOOL TRIP in the forum Malta 4 months ago
There were 4 of us, tight budget, wanted beach and nightlife without spending a fortune like Ibiza. Someone threw Malta on the table. Ten minutes on Skyscanner and we already had the flights booked. Return from less than 80 euros. Yeah, for real.
The nightlife? All in Paceville, the St. Julian’s district. Bars with 2-for-1 drinks until 11pm,…
