Praja Gallipoli Closed For 15 Days, Here’s Why
Heads up if Praja was on your list this month: it’s closed until August 23rd. The Lecce police shut it down after a rough stretch this summer, alleged sexual assaults on minors in the parking lot, fights, thefts, alcohol served to underage kids, plus 17 emergency call-outs in just two weeks for severe alcohol intoxication. Not the club’s first suspension either, similar stuff has happened there since 2022.
The timing hit hard too, the shutdown landed right before a scheduled Anna concert, and it’s also knocked out an upcoming Bob Sinclar date. Praja’s pushing back publicly, saying the decision is unfair and that they’re appealing.
Bottom line: skip Praja for the next two weeks and keep an eye out before booking anything there. Baia Verde’s still got plenty of other spots if you’re already planning a Gallipoli trip.

This is wild. I bought tickets for Anna and Bob Sinclar months ago and now the whole trip is ruined. I get that safety comes first, but shutting it down right during peak season is a massive blow to everyone who traveled here.
