Tips for your vacation!

  • Tips for your vacation!

Planning a trip to Magaluf? Whether you are looking for the wildest parties or just trying to navigate the island like a pro, here are some tips to help you maximize your holiday, save money, and avoid common tourist traps!

    1. Choosing Your Hotel: Location is Everything

The main strip is the heart of the action, but the strip can be very loud at night. If you want to sleep, keep this in mind! Also, beware of the steep hill when booking your accommodation.

    • Pro Tip: Magaluf is a very small resort. If hotels are fully booked, you can easily stay in Palmanova, Santa Ponsa, or any neighboring area. They are just a 5 to 10-minute taxi ride away!

    2. Smart Transportation: Taxis & Transfers

Getting from the airport to Magaluf is quick—the ride takes only about 25 minutes.

    • The Cost: Expect to pay around €50 for the journey, and make sure to bring both cash and card.
    • Money-Saving Hack: Make friends at the baggage belt! If there are only two of you, share a taxi with new friends to split the bill and save €25.
    • Warning: Avoid Uber here, as it is notoriously expensive.

    3. Boat Parties: Size Matters!

When it comes to booking a boat excursion, do not fall for basic sales pitches. Not all boats are equal. Many companies will promise the ultimate experience, but only Magaluf Events hosts the double-decker super yacht (Heatwave) that everyone talks about. Make sure you know what you are paying for!

    4. Unlock Island Discounts

If you want to save big on activities, look into getting an official events package. It unlocks massive discounts across the island, including:

    • Vibe Excursions: Jet ski tours, self-drive boats, yacht charters, quad bikes, and waterparks.
    • Restaurants: Great deals at popular spots like Chilli, Blackbeards, Tom Browns, Turtle Beach, and Fernandof’s.
    • Bars: Mavara Lounge, Coco Bongos, and more being added constantly.

    5. Mastering The Strip

The famous Magaluf strip doesn’t usually get busy until around 11 PM or midnight. If you wonder what everyone is doing before that, tourists generally split into four groups:

    • A: Pre-drinking at the hotel.
    • B: Heading out early (8–9 PM to 12 AM) to events like Gringos, Reloaded, or the White Party.
    • C: Taking it easy and staying in bed.
    • D: Enjoying a fancy meal somewhere around town.

    6. Don’t Miss Gringos Bingo!

If there is one event you absolutely cannot miss, it is Gringos Bingo. It is officially the most popular event in Magaluf, featuring wild holiday energy inside a massive, 1,000-capacity air-conditioned arena.

    • Important Note: This highly sought-after event is only included in the official Magaluf Events Package, so plan ahead to secure your spot!
