We went to Malta for our high school graduation trip. The way we did it was slightly different from most people, because we rented sunbeds for the whole day. A huge advantage of doing this is that you spend €30 and get to spend both the entire day and the evening there. You spend the day in an exclusive environment, with a beautiful pool and comfortable sunbeds, it feels absolutely amazing. For the evening event, you have the chance to shower and get ready right there. However, you have to lock your beach bag in a locker. We managed to squeeze nine bags into two lockers, which cost €10 each.
I wouldn’t recommend the evening party if you have to pay €50 for it, because in my opinion, it’s absolutely not worth it. It is completely packed. Café del Mar only makes sense if you do what we did: stay there all day and then enjoy the party until you get tired and head home.

Friday night at Gianpula, which is ranked as the 32nd best club in the world, and you can definitely tell the quality is on another level. It’s great, and the sound system is really good. The music is mainly commercial but very electronic-oriented. Friday is definitely not a reggaeton night, if that’s what you’re looking for. Drinks at Gianpula cost around €6, I think, which is super cheap. If you go to Malta, you can’t miss it.
