  • Restaurants, Maltese food.

We are also looking for some nice restaurant recommendations. We’d love places with a nice location, like a great view, that serve authentic, typical Maltese food. Any hidden gems or must visit spots?

    • I advice you Tal-Petut Restaurant! It was probably the most authentic dinner of the whole vacation. The restaurant is small and intimate, located in a quiet street in Birgu ..even getting there in the evening feels special and atmospheric. We ordered a mix of traditional Maltese dishes like some gbejniet and a ftira to start, then their… Read more

We waited for the sunset to take amazing photos and later there was a DJ event that made the atmosphere more fun… Read more

Renting a car in Malta is honestly a bit of a waste in my opinion! During the day the island is very well connected with buses and ferries, and especially if you have never driven on the left side I would not recommend renting a car. But taxis arrive in just few minutes and they are quite cheap, so moving around is very easy!
